Impressive pitched battle that left wounded and arrested: shocking video

The Moroccan police arrested 46 people, including six minors, for their alleged participation in the riots that took place this Sunday in the Casablanca cityafter a derby of the national soccer league, the Botola.

Some four security agents were injured during these disturbances, after being attacked with stones by fans of football, which also caused damage to four vehicles.

He added that those arrested are accused of having attacked security agents during the exercise of their duties, causing damage to private property, robbery and drunkenness, a source from the Casablanca police told EFE on Monday.

The agents seized 22 units of fireworks and ten counterfeit ticket tickets for this match between the teams from Casablanca, the Wydad and the Raja, and that ended with the victory of the first with two goals to nil.

The arrested adults remained in police custody, explains the source, while the minors were subjected to judicial control measures, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office in charge of the investigation.

In Morocco, riots caused by ultra groups are common, especially by those who support the two big clubs in Casablanca, Raja and Wydad.
