Mexico.- The panista Ricardo Anaya attacked Emilio Lozoya after not attending his hearing in the North Reclusorio scheduled for this February 14, 2022, before which he limited himself to declaring that he will not “leave” and the former director of Pemex is a “liar” for implicating him in the Odebrecht case.
Through his social networks, Ricardo Anaya published a video later than usual, after his absence from his hearing before the judge became national news and his lawyers explained that they could not even contact him.
The former presidential candidate of the PAN only indicated that his lawyers went and the hearing was suspended, and then diverted the subject to Lozoya, whom he called “liar“for accusing him of receiving an alleged millionaire bribe as part of the Odebrecht case.
“As you probably know, today a hearing was held to which the lawyers went and it was suspended. The important thing is that by now there is no doubt that Lozoya is a criminal and a liaras I explained from the beginning, that is why he is in jail and that is why the Prosecutor’s Office has already asked the judge for a sentence of 54 years in prison for Lozoya, “explained the political rival of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

He asserted that he does not intend to let himself or fall into the “game” of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), speaking for hours about Emilio Lozoya’s “ball of lies”.
“Like I said, I’m not going to let myself, but I’m not going to make the mistake of falling into their game either. and dedicate myself to talking for hours and hours about the bunch of lies about a guy who is already in jail and who, in fact, could stay there for more than 50 years, as a thief and a liar,” added Anaya.
The former PAN presidential candidate recalled that this February 14 marks the Day of Love and Friendship in Mexico, “a special day” to be in peace, for later criticize the AMLO government for his anti-insecurity strategy. “The main responsibility of the government is to guarantee peace and security, something that the López Obrador government is unfortunately not doing,” he charged.
Ricardo Anaya stressed that in three years of López Obrador’s six-year term, 103,000 people have been murdered, a figure that makes this “the most violent six-year term in the history of modern Mexico.”
“More than 15,000 policemen have been murdered, 3,000 women have been victims of femicide, violence against journalists is unstoppable,” he asserted, in addition to referring to recent events such as the normalistas who launched a trailer without a driver against the National Guard in Guerrero , or the request for help from journalist Lourdes Maldonado to AMLO in 2019.
“We live in a Mexico in which booths can be taken over, highways and train tracks can be blocked, narcomantas and dead can be left in the middle of a public square in a state capital without anything happening. Because for criminals there are hugs, not bullets,” criticized the baker.
In conclusion, the politician presented his proposals to deal with the crisis of violence in Mexico. It consists of four points that are summarized as follows:
1. Prevent crime and violence with targeted actions that respond to local logic
2. End impunity and consolidate the reform of the judicial system
3. Police well paid and equipped to demilitarize the country
4. Invest enough resources with “honesty and accountability”
Anaya did not say more about the hearing that he had to attend in person at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, in which Judge Marco Antonio Fuerte Tapia declared his absence unjustified and refused to grant new deadlines.
