There will be 34 cars present at the 12h del Golfo, the last seasonal event of the Intercontinental GT Challenge to be held next weekend.
The final race of 2022 will be held in Yas Marina and several brands have chosen to send their best crews to the United Arab Emirates.
On December 9-11 we will see 30 GT3 cars competing for the overall success and the aforementioned trophies, to which are also added 4 Porsches in the 992 version of the GT Cup category.
Mercedes claimed early success with victory at the 8h of Indianapolis in October, but will present themselves with the AMG GT3s of Raffaelle Marciello/Daniel Juncadella/Jules Gounon and Maro Engel/Maximilian Goetz/Lucas Auer followed with official support from GruppeM Racing, to which are added the specimens of Al Manar Racing by GetSpeed, SPS automotive performance, 2 Seas Motorsort, SunEnergy1 by SPS, MP Racing and RAM Racing.

On the other hand, there are nine Ferraris, with the 488s aiming to increase the number of successes of this fantastic model, which will be replaced from next year by the brand new 296 GT3.
The private one of AF Corse-MDK Motorsports of the Danish duo Jan and Kevin Magnussen (together with Mark Kvamme) has already been announced, spotlights obviously on those of AF/Francorchamps Motors in the hands of the stars Antonio Fuoco/James Calado/Alessandro Pier Guidi and Davide Rigon /Alessio Rovera/Nicklas Nielsen.
The Piacenza-based team then entered another three cars, with the Prancing Horse also represented by Kessel Racing with two vehicles and Team Baron Motorsport Middle East.
Audi Sport will give official support to Tresor and Saintéloc Racing, with a total of four R8 LMSs on track.
Poker also for Porsche with the 911 GT3-R of Herberth Motorsport, EBM Giga Racing and Saalocin Racing; on the latter car it is curious to note that the former Belgian cyclist Tom Boonen will share the wheel with Stephane Kox, Peter Kox and Nico Pronk.
Finally, the grid will be completed by the BMW M4 of Century Motorsport and the McLarens of Garage 59 (two 720S) and Inception Racing. Those registered as IGTC competitors will have the championship insignia on their windshield, while the others will carry the traditional Gulf 12h logo.
