Ice Hockey World Championships | President Niinistö invited the gold team to Kultaranta, politicians celebrate the champions: “Jukka Jalonen will be in the second round of the presidential election in 2024”

Of the Republic president Sauli Niinistö has invited the men’s hockey World Cup gold team to visit Kultaranta, the Office of the President of the Republic says On Twitter. Kultaranta is the president’s summer office in Naantali.

The president has also sent a congratulatory letter to the team, the office informs.

Niinistö commented on the Finland-Canada match on Twitter on Sunday. He published his message in the third installment when Finland was in the lead.

Finland won the men’s hockey World Championship gold on Sunday by defeating Canada in the playoffs 4–3. The victory was Finland’s first home race.
