Pittsburgh The Penguins’ preparation for the NHL season did not start particularly rosy, when the team lost to the Buffalo Sabers by a score of 3–7. It went better instead Jesse at Puljujärviwho scored all of the Penguins’ goals.
Puljujärvi, 26, didn’t show off his hat trick on the field or in the locker room after the match.
“We have so many good guys here fighting for the same places. I just have to do my best every day, stay positive and disciplined and trust myself,” shirtless journalists answered the questions Puljujärvi thought.
Both of Puljujärvi’s hips were operated on last year, and he was only able to play in the spring of this year.
Against Buffalo, Puljujärvi’s second hit came after he twisted strongly from the right side in front of the goal. Puljujärvi was asked if he would have been able to do the same a year ago. The answer summed up the difference well.
“No hope at all. There is so much more movement now, and there is no pain in the skating position.”
of Pittsburgh head coach Mike Sullivan has seen the same development, and he praised Puljujärvi after the match.
“It is not an easy injury to rehabilitate. He worked extremely hard to get to where he was last year. I think he’s a lot stronger now,” Sullivan said of the Penguins on the website.
“He is able to skate better and maintain his skating from shift to shift, the same in practice. The further he can get from the recovery period the better, and he’s really put in the work during the training season.”
