Ice hockey | Noora Räty returns to the Finnish league, made a convincing impression last season

Noora Räty, one of the best goalkeepers in the world, returns to Hämeenlinna.

World an absolute top hockey goaltender Nora Räty joins the Hämeenlinna Football Club. HPK informs about it on its website.

Räty has signed a comprehensive tryout contract with HPK until October 2022. Räty played a total of 14 matches in the Women’s League last season in Hämeenlinna with a great save percentage of 95.4.

“It is often said that things have been handled well at HIFK, but what is often forgotten is HPK, where the women’s team is also part of the league organization. I would love to come back to Hämeenlinna to continue the project, which was a little unfinished last season after I moved abroad in January. We’ll go through the tryout and I want to earn my place,” Räty commented in HPK’s press release.

HPK Women’s Manager Jorma Hassinen is excited about Rädy’s return to Hämeenlinna.

“It is a great opportunity for our team to have Noora back. She is undoubtedly one of the most interesting players in women’s hockey in the world. I am pleased that he came back to Hämpton.”

Räty will be seen in HPK’s goal for the first time on Saturday in an away match in Espoo.
