Hockey|Barkov had nice parties for the children at the children’s hospital.
Ice hockey star Alexander Barkov got to celebrate winning the Stanley Cup at the end of last season, and now the children have also been able to enjoy the man’s excellent season.
Barkov, 29, made his annual visit to Florida Children’s Hospital on Saturday, and this time the visit was different from previous times.
The captain of the Florida Panthers brought a baseball star Joe DiMaggio a big check and a Stanley Cup stand for the children’s hospital that bears his name.
Barkov donated $1,600 to the hospital for each goal he scored last season, and $800 for each assist. Last season, including the playoffs, Barkov hit 31+71, so the total amount of the donation was a whopping $106,400, i.e. a good 95,000 euros.
