LONDON (Reuters) – A total of 358,650 tonnes of white sugar, mostly Indian, was delivered against the March contract on the ICE Futures Europe exchange, data from the institution showed on Monday.
The March contract expired on Friday.
The volume involves 303,300 tonnes of Indian sugar, 43,350 tonnes from Guatemala and 12,000 tonnes from Thailand.
The sellers were BNP Paribas SA (179,100 tonnes), Louis Dreyfus Company (136,200), Sucden Financial (37,650) and Marex Financial (5,700).
The buyers were ED&F Man Capital Markets (258,650 tonnes) and Sucden Financial (100,000).
