The panorama of car brands is enriched by a new Italian brand. This is IATO Motors, a company that aims to link its name to its origins, as also explained in the first note released by the car manufacturer: “today with the high level of globalization achieved it is increasingly difficult to identify the nationality of a product, especially in the automotive world where the synergies between the various multinationals have reached levels unthinkable just a few years ago. The rebirth of an Italian brand must have a strong link with the past and its history, whatever it may be, forcefully breaking away from current standards”.
Focus on SUVs for IATO Motors
In a very particular historical period for the automotive industry “Made in Italy” the project is born IATO Motors to demonstrate that in a nation with a strong motoring tradition like Italy there is still room for initiatives that can give prestige and success to the national industry. The brand will focus in particular on SUVs and off-road: the plans include the creation of two high-wheel models, an Extreme range that will use synthetic fuels and innovations in terms of construction and a Naked range that will instead have multi-utility characteristics with an innovative and “bright” line to enjoy free time in the best way.
I dream of Dakar
IATO Motors also has a section dedicated to light military reconnaissance vehicles, also ideal for public and rescue functions. The brand’s goal is to also engage in motorsport with an activity in Rally Raid competitions and one day bring an all-Italian team to compete in the Dakar.
