VIENNA (Reuters) – A report on Ukraine released on Tuesday by the UN nuclear agency listed damage to parts of the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and recommended that conditions under which Ukrainian staff operate at the plant be improved.
“The Ukrainian team operating the plant under Russian military occupation is under constant stress and pressure, especially with the limited staff available,” the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said.
“This is not sustainable and could lead to an increase in human error with implications for nuclear safety.”
