The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) has established a commission that will investigate the incident with the hard landing of the An-28 aircraft in the Tomsk region.
“According to available information, there were two crew members, two technicians and 15 passengers on board. The aircraft suffered significant damage. The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed a commission to investigate the accident, “- noted on website organizations on July 17th.
As added to the IAC, the commission has already begun work.
The plane made a hard landing the day before. An-28 of Siberian Light Aviation (SILA) operated a flight from the city of Kedrovy to Tomsk. After takeoff, the aircraft stopped communicating.
Later, rescuers found the crashed plane in the taiga, all people on board survived. 12 people were taken to Tomsk, the pilot and one passenger were hospitalized.
As you can see in the footage from the An-28 cabin, the plane left a deep and long furrow on the ground, and the ship’s hull was partially covered with earth.
According to An-28 pilot Farukh Khasanov, both engines of the aircraft failed before an emergency landing. One of the versions of the refusal could be low-quality kerosene. The Investigative Committee confirmed that both engines failed, the fuel was taken for examination.
