Interviewed by La Vita in Diretta, Roberta Bertacchi's boyfriend reiterated his innocence and regret at having left her alone

The man says he is sorry for how she went about her and feels remorse for leaving her alone on the evening of the 5th, after the argument in the pub.
They continue investigations on the death of Roberta Bertacchi, the 26-year-old young woman, originally from Milan and resident in Casarano, Puglia, who on the morning of last January 5th was found hanged with a fan's scarf from the balcony shelter of her house.
The autopsyconcluded yesterday and carried out by the medical examiner appointed by the prosecutor's office, Alberto Tortorella, in the presence of the consultant appointed by the victim's family, essentially confirmed the suicide hypothesis.

The two had been together for a short time, almost two months, and the previous evening they had been seen in a club in the area having a lively discussion about the tragedy.

That evening we argued and I didn't sleep at home. The next day they called me to tell me that she had died. But I had nothing to do with it, I feel calm, I have never hurt anyone.
The 35-year-old then explained how he felt heartbroken and that if he had known how it would have gone, that she would have hurt herself after the argument, for sure he would stay at home, close to her.
Davide then said that the two of them they were good togetherthat she sometimes took medicine and that that evening they had argued because the owner of the club had told him that she was bothering other girls in the pub.
I got angry and we argued. I put her in the car with me but she left and I left, I decided not to sleep with her. I only regret leaving her alone.
Roberta's partner then reiterated his opinion absolute innocence and extraneousness to the facts:
I didn't instigate her, I feel calm. I had nothing to do with it, I never hurt anyone.
