Georgia.- A tiger escaped from a safari park after a tornado damaged the compound where he was staying, causing panic among local residents, the Troup County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Police received a report Saturday from Pine Mountain Animal Safari in Troup County that a tiger from his park had not been found after a twister destroy the facilities.
“We have received a report from Pine Mountain Animal Safari that they are reporting a Tiger that is unknown within the park,” read a Facebook post shared by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office.
It is worth mentioning that locals were urged to stay inside while authorities tracked down the tiger.
People were surprised to learn that there was a tiger prowling around their homes, so the comments were not long in coming, some user replied: “I hope that tiger doesn’t knock on my door!”, while another Facebook user exclaimed “run tiger run”.
While others showed sincere concern for the feline: “I hope the tiger is well.”
