Stefano Cirillo, a young tiktoker from Borgosatollo, in the province of Brescia, has a tumor. He announced it himself with a video for his over 200 thousand followers. The clip, published on August 5, has recorded over 4.5 million views in just over 48 hours.
“Life is so strange anyway… One random day in the summer you find out you have malignant cancer,” reads the message superimposed on the short video, which shows the young man driving in his car and being shaved on the head by a health worker, probably before undergoing surgery. In the background, the song “Eulogy” by Zach Bryan plays. “Everything will be okay,” is the phrase that accompanies the video.
@stefano.cirillo Everything will be fine ❤️💪🏻 #cancer
“Blood tests were fine, I discovered leukemia from an MRI and further tests. Don’t stop at blood tests,” Cirillo wrote in response to one of the more than 600,000 comments, all or almost all supportive of him.
Stefano Cirillo is a very popular tiktoker among young people. In his videos, the boy represents in an ironic tone some of the typical moments of the daily life of a teenager or creates imitations, the most famous of which is the one in which he plays the imaginary character of Chiara Facchetti, a parody of Chiara Ferragni.
