When property managers in apartment buildings announce something, not everyone is happy. But a neighbor is now reacting creatively.
Munich – Of course, it may be the case that changes or renovations are needed in apartment buildings. Appointments are usually announced by the property management with notes on the bulletin board or in the mailbox. Whether it’s a water test, reading the electricity or even painting the house facade. But Sometimes neighbors cause trouble too or inconveniences that the property management then has to take care of. However, the way a neighbor reacts creatively to an announcement of bulky waste has not happened very often.
Property management announcement with deadline as a notice: “(Fire protection)”
Because a notice sent to all residents of the house stating the deadline had expired was clear. “We must once again point out that it is not permitted to dispose of or temporarily store your bulky waste or objects in the attics, in the cellars or in other common areas such as the stairwell (fire protection).” The property management also writes that they wish to have these items cleared into their own areas by September 25th.
What happens if they don’t meet the deadline? “After the aforementioned deadline, all items would have to be disposed of as bulky waste without replacement and at a cost.” A neighbor was now afraid that either items that were still needed would end up in the trash or she had cleverly tried to avoid paying for the supposed bulky waste must. Because the neighbor responded immediately with eight pieces of paper including 48 adhesive strips, which was reminiscent of a notice from a resident to a long-term parker reminiscent of a short-term parking lot with 20 adhesive strips.
Neighbor reacts strangely: “common trampoline” and “communal chair”
She proclaimed most objects to be of “common” use. Such as a “summer box with a garden hose, pools, garden shower and much more”, or “children’s vehicles” and a pile of poles thrown together as “community football goals!!!”. The “bicycles”, the “trampoline”, the “chair”, the “air pumps” and “winter sledges” were also marked. Did the neighbor lay an egg in her own nest, like a DHL customer? Fire protection was the big question here.
The Reddit community that responded to the post posted there had mixed feelings. On the one hand, the neighbor was celebrated. “I threw myself away at the communal chair,” laughs one person, another says: “I like your neighbor’s sense of humor,” and even a declaration of love follows: “I fell in love with your neighbor.” But one comment perfectly summarizes what many complain about: “Actually quite a funny reaction. She just didn’t understand what it was about.”
Yes, the fire protection factor is viewed critically by many users. “Fire safety experts hate this trick,” says one person, while another uses the neighbor’s words against her: “COMMUNITY fire load!!”. However, the neighbor’s accuracy is still accepted because she even laminated the notes, similar to a senior center note, and these are then secretly considered “valid” in the community. Whoever posted the photos online doesn’t know whether she’ll get away with it. “My neighbor’s reaction to the announcement of the AGM,” it simply says. It is not known where the action takes place.
Such notices from a neighbor or reactions are not the only ones that exist in households. A gendered neighbor announcement is labeled as “outrageous” and a The “Incredible” note gets an answer that doesn’t matter. (ank)
