Hyundai is confirmed as one of the most convinced car manufacturers that hydrogen can represent a valid solution for the future. And a few days after the rumor that the next generation of the fuel cell Nexo will be postponed to 2024, the Korean brand announced that it has signed a multilateral memorandum of understanding to explore the potential of hydrogen energy in the Czech Republic. and, once the conditions have been identified, support the creation of a hydrogen mobility ecosystem in the country.
According to an official note issued by Hyundai itself, at the signing ceremony the Korean carmaker joined the Czech association for hydrogen Hydrogen Technology Platform, the Korean public-private consultancy body for hydrogen H2KOREA, and to other Korean and Czech companies, including Hyundai Glovis Co, Zebra Group and ORLEN Unipetrol and Spolchemie. Not only that: they also participated in the ceremony ministerial officials of Korea and the Czech Republic. As mentioned, the objective of this agreement is to give life to a collaboration on the entire process and on the value chain of the hydrogen industry: Hyundai has made it known that the proof of concept of commercial vehicles to hydrogen fuel cells in the Czech Republic should help to give indications on the demand and feasibility of hydrogen mobility activities in the country.
