Bushiroad Games and the developers of Eighting have officially presented the first trailer for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact, a 3v3 fighting game based on the famous manga by Yoshiro Togashi. It will be available on PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC Steam, with a release date yet to be determined. Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact is a 2D fighting game where each player fields a team of three characters on the field. During duels it will be possible to change the active character on the field at any time and perform combined attacks between team members.
The first details on the Hunter x Hunter fighting game
From the first details offered, we learn that it is possible to perform combos by pressing a single button, called Rush Button. As the fight continues, the characters will fill their energy bar “Aura Art”choreographic blows whose power is determined based on the aforementioned bar.
It is also possible to launch the Aura Arts of multiple characters at the same time, resulting in deadly combinations. The “Over Gear” mechanic allows you to increase a character's power, speed and other parameters, but for a limited period and only once per duel.
According to information shared by Bushiroad Games, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact can be played solo with the AI or facing another player in local or online multiplayer. The bad news is that cross-platform unfortunately will not be supported, while the good news is that the game it will be localized in Italian.
