In the video that we share with you above we can see game room showcasing some of the rarest games in the collection, including Chrono Trigger on SNES, which is valued at $2,400 dollars. The SNES we also see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Timevalued at 1,400 dollars, Final Fantasy II at $1,200, and Sunset Riders at $750 dollars.
According games room, they will not be disclosing additional information about the total value of the collection until everything has been preserved and documented. It’s worth noting that if they manage to get official ratings for all of these games, the value for some of them could double, triple, or even quadruple.
Just the opposite happened last year after a collector tossed a bag worth $80,000 into the trash. All to save space.
Publisher’s note: Video game collecting can be a pretty lucrative hobby, but it’s important to keep your game states pristine. Of course, there are those who collect without necessarily thinking of selling them, but in case you have some old and in good condition, it may be worth keeping it that way.
