The Ministry stated that 1,780 male and female students have enrolled in the program since the launch of its pilot phase, which began in September of last year, and will continue until the end of the 2023-2024 academic year, to begin the phase of implementing the program in its final and comprehensive form over a period of five years, with the aim of supporting the enrollment of Emirati students into the skilled workforce in The private sector, by providing them with the necessary practical experience during the various educational stages, through several program tracks that are offered to students from the ninth grade, until the final year of higher education.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation is the general coordinator of the programme, in cooperation with its partners in the Ministry of Education, the Emirates Foundation for School Education, the Higher Colleges of Technology, the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and the Applied Technology High School, with the support of the Emirates Competitiveness Council for Competitiveness (NAFES).
