This came during an inspection tour of His Highness at the Ajman Museum, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Tourism Development Department, Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office Youssef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Protocol and Hospitality, and a number of senior officials.
His Highness was briefed on the contents of the various sections of the museum, which have been completely updated with technology, modern technology and smart devices to bring the past closer to the minds and hearts of visitors. His Highness was acquainted with what the museum contains of heritage tools, historical photographs, pearl and fish equipment, and old tools used, including upholstery, shortening, tailoring, beshut making and professional crafts in general.
His Highness inspected the department of pearls, fishing, the popular market and the private suite of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, which includes his private room and his personal belongings, some papers, his dagger, souvenirs, etc., and the department of folk medicine, herbal medicine, antiquities, manuscripts, historical weapons, agriculture, the living room, the kitchen, and the historical photographs section, which included a group of Pictures of Their Highnesses, rulers of the Emirates at the establishment of the union and the meetings that preceded it and the visit of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan “may God rest his soul” to the Emirate of Ajman, in addition to pictures of historical sites, tourist attractions, ancient markets, and other sections and the holdings and tools they contain.
