The coalition's candidate Alexander Stubb would win the second round of the presidential elections if the elections were held now, according to HS's recent support poll. Pekka Haavisto (green) has increased his support.
The coalition Alexander Stubb is still the most popular candidate for the next president of the republic, according to HS's recent support survey.
Stubb would beat the Electoral Association candidate Pekka Haaviston (green) by 54–46 percentage points, if the second round of elections were held now.
The survey commissioned by HS's research institute Verian (formerly Kantar) was conducted on 2-4. February 2024, i.e. while early voting is already underway.
The result does not include those who did not have an opinion in the survey.
I don't hurt support has grown and Stubbin's has weakened compared to HS's previous one to the support survey.
Stubb received 57 percent support and Haavisto 43 percent support in a poll published on January 30, right after the first round of the elections.
In the first round of the elections, Stubb received 27.2 percent of the votes and Haavisto 25.8 percent.
More than three out of four said in HS's recent survey that they were sure that they would vote for the candidate of their choice. 15 percent said they are not quite sure, but will probably vote for the candidate of their choice now.
Only five percent answered that they could very well vote for the opponent of the person they chose. A handful of respondents could not say how it would work.
Stubby the support is clearly stronger than that of Haavisto among men, for example. The majority of women, on the other hand, would vote for Haavisto.
Both get support in all age groups. The older the person involved, the more likely the vote would go to Stubbs.
Among the professional groups, the majorities of managers and upper-level employees, lower-level employees, entrepreneurs and pensioners would vote for Alexander Stubb.
The majority of employees and students prefer Haavisto.
A survey in the light, both Haavisto and Stubb are retaining the support of almost everyone who supported them in the first round.
Basic Finns Jussi Halla-ahon two thirds of the voters are behind Alexander Stubb.
The candidate of the electoral association and the center Olli Rehnin almost two-thirds of the supporters plan to vote for Stubb and a good third for Haavisto.
The majority for the candidate of the left-wing coalition Li Andersson's of voters are about to vote for Pekka Haavisto. The clear majority Sdp would also do the same Talk about Urpilai of those who voted.
Stubb's support among both Andersson's and Urpilainen's supporters has weakened compared to HS's previous survey.
Elections in the first round, the domestic voting percentage was 75.
74 percent of those who took part in the survey said that they are now certain to vote or have already voted, 16 percent are fairly certain that they will vote.
Eight percent do not think they will vote. Two percent had no opinion on the matter.
