HS Environment Experience how the forces of nature flow over man – HS opens the door to Heureka’s new exhibition live from 9 a.m.

HS transports viewers through the forces of water, wind, fire and earth.

Which week we see or hear the news of somewhere flooding, burning, shaking. People are almost daily hit by a storm or earthquake, somewhere by a wildfire, and by another flood.

The new exhibition at the Heureka Science Center showcases these disasters, the enormous forces of nature. At the same time, it also presents the forces of man with which man responds to the forces of nature: cooperation and trust.

The issue is topical, as climate change is accelerating extreme weather events. The threats posed by the forces of nature are even more unpredictable.

In the midst of disasters exhibition is not just to show something, but to give the visitor an experience – an experience of the forces of nature and their own forces. In the four rooms dealing with the forces of nature, the forces of water, wind, earth, and fire rise around the experiencer. Disasters are dealt with through audiovisual art installations.

HS opens the door to the experience offered by the exhibition even before it opens.

HS will take the viewer to the showrooms on Friday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Viewers will be transported to the exhibition by an HS correspondent Petja Pelli. The live broadcast of the exhibition can be viewed at hs.fi.

The Heureka exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, November 20th.
