Valeria highlighted the importance of having contacts in the artistic field, since these provide privileged information about auditions. “Thanks to my contacts, between producers and choreographers, I have managed to work on television and concerts,” he claimed. Once the audition date is known, applicants must demonstrate their talent and skills in the casting and wait for the decision of those responsible for the selection.

How much is the payment for a dancer in Group 5?
Payment for Group 5 dancers varies depending on experience and time in the field. A former dancer in the group shared on TikTok that rates can differ between novice dancers and those with years of experience. “A dancer who is just starting out is not going to earn the same as one who has been in the field for 7 or 8 years,” he explained. In addition, he mentioned that payment can be per event, per hour or through a monthly spreadsheet.
“When I worked with Group 5, they gave me a specific amount. It is not an amount for an official dancer of some orchestra. It varies quite a bit. One more or less gets to know the market prices over the years. Yes, there is a limit price in the market that we all respect so as not to throw ourselves into the ground. That happens a lot with people who are just starting out, they throw themselves on the ground, they ruin the market, and you can see the results on the stage,” she added.
