Some years ago, part of the documentation required for the processing of our passport was to bring passport-sized studio photographs. These had to be obtained in a photography studio and had to meet certain specific parameters, background, size and lighting. However, since 2018 they stopped being requested and now they are only requested in very special cases.
However, although we no longer have to worry about getting the photographs before our appointment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), we do have to consider how to get fixedbecause it is in the same appointment where the photograph is taken, and it is requested that some essential requirements be met, as in the process of any other official identification.

Glasses are also not allowed, although you do require them to see. At the time of photography, you will be asked to remove them, in the same way with sunglasses. In the event that you wear contact lenses, if they are of an extravagant color, it is very likely that they will also ask you to remove them.
