Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will star in one of the most anticipated fights of the year. The fight will take place at AT&T Stadium and will be broadcast on Netflix. At 58 years old, Tyson returns to the ring after having played only one exhibition fight in the last 18 years. Although he assures that this fight is a personal challenge, there is no doubt that the multimillion-dollar figure he will receive is an incentive for his decision. But how much are we talking about?

Neither the organizers nor Netflix have revealed the exact figures that the boxers will receive, although there are estimates about the amounts. At a conference in August, Jake Paul hinted that he plans to earn $40 million for this fight and “knock out a legend.” According to the media ‘Givemesports’, the total prize money for the event exceeds 60 million dollars, with 40 million going to Paul and 20 million going to Tyson.

How much wealth do Jake Paul and Mike Tyson accumulate?

Jake Paul, influencer and boxer, has an estimated net worth of $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Before his fight against Tommy Fury in February 2023, he had 30 million, a figure that grew despite having suffered his first professional defeat.

Mike Tyson, for his part, currently has a net worth of $10 million. During his career he accumulated 430 million, but bad financial decisions led him to bankruptcy in 2003 with debts of 23 million. His current fortune comes largely from his foray into the marijuana business, which has revitalized its income in recent years.

Tyson’s career was marked by record earnings. In 1986, he became the youngest heavyweight champion, taking home $1.5 million for his victory over Trevor Berbick. In 1988, he defeated Michael Spinks in just 91 seconds, earning $20 million in his first pay-per-view fight. Later, after leaving prison, he earned 25 million by beating Peter McNeely and 30 million for each fight against Evander Holyfield.
