A few days ago Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega surprisingly presented Like a Dragon: Yakuza Piratea new one with Goro Majima for the first time as the main protagonist and with a pirate theme. It is a spin-off compared to the main chapters such as Infinite Wealth, but this does not mean at all that it is a “small” or short-lived game.
In fact, Masayoshi Yokoyama, the president of RGG Studio, revealed in an interview that the story will be about 1.3 – 1.5 times longer of that of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Namewhile regarding the size of the world he said it will be “much bigger”. We would add: if we consider the dozens of side quests and extra activities typical of the series, it is likely that we are talking about another game capable of keeping players busy for dozens and dozens of hours.
RGG Studio has more surprises in store for players
Yokoyama also revealed that Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirate in Hawaii did not have a short development cycle, but rather it was in development for a long time trying to maintain maximum confidentiality about its existence so as not to spoil the surprise for the fans. By the way, the boss of RGG Studio promised that There are more surprises in store which will be revealed in the coming months.
