Holiday Village Cornwall has encouraged guests to clean their toilets on their own to avoid canceling summer reservations. Writes about this The Sun.
For example, the owner of a four-star hotel near Padstow (UK) sent a letter to his guests in which he asked for help with cleaning the toilets, since most of the hotel employees were forced to isolate themselves due to the pandemic.
He also added that he was asking for such concessions in exchange for keeping summer bookings – however, if the base closed, the owner guaranteed a full refund to tourists.
“My main concern is the safety of my guests and my employees. Therefore, if we are unable to keep the toilet blocks clean, we will cancel the reservation – and this is the last thing I would like to do, ”said the hotelier.
Earlier in July, a video was leaked on the network in which the owner of a hotel in Anapa, outraged by the guests’ request to clean the room, made a scandal. It was reported that the tourists settled in the guest house “Atmosphere Dzhemete” in Anapa, which is located on the first line by the sea. The guests noticed wool and sand in the room and asked the owner of the hotel to clean up, receiving her violent reaction and insults in response.
