In the midst of the escalation of tension between the national government and that of the City of Buenos Aires due to face-to-face classes amid the second wave of coronavirus, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta was denounced in Comodoro Py for not having complied with the ruling of the federal Justice that ordered the schools to be closed until the Supreme Court rules.
On the morning of this Wednesday there were at least four criminal complaints that had been drawn in different courts, while the lawyer Valeria Carreras expanded her accusation in another lawsuit that began this week in the federal court of María Servini.
The first two complaints were for the crimes of “violation of measures against the spread of an epidemic, resistance or disobedience to a public official and abuse of authority “were settled in the federal court, 10 under Julián Ercolini.
One of them was presented by lawyers Juan Leotta and Darío Liurgo, who maintained that the head of government “has decided destructively oppose and generate the greatest political chaos possible for the National Government to conform to a segment of society that demands school attendance at any cost (even in the worst sanitary moment in history) “.
Another of the complaints that was drawn in the Ercolini court was presented by the lawyer Daniel Valmaggia for “instigation to commit crime, abuse of authority“and violation of article 205 that punishes those who do not respect measures to contain an epidemic.
Another judicial presentation was that of the Association of State Workers (ATE) of the City.
The secretary general of ATE Capital and assistant secretary of the CTA, Daniel Catalano, denounced Rodríguez Larreta for “spread of dangerous and contagious disease, culpable poisoning of medicines, violation of measures, resistance or disobedience to a public official, abuse of authority and breach of duties “.
Catalano explained that the complaint was made “against Larreta for violating article 205 of the Penal Code, ignoring a sanitary measure while favoring the spread of the virus and disobeying a judicial measure.”

“I criminally denounced Larreta for disobeying Federal Justice and putting city workers at risk. The Head of Government not only fails to fulfill his duties as an official and attempts against Public Health, but also generates an unprecedented institutional crisis” the union leader later wrote via Twitter.
For his part, the lawyer Adrián Albor denounced Rodríguez Larreta for “riot” in a presentation that was drawn in the federal court of María Servini.
The judges in charge of the different complaints will now have to decide whether they are unified in a single court.
Carreras, who also represents the main complaint of the relatives in the causes for the collapse of the ARA San Juan and for illegal espionage during the Government of Mauricio Macri, asked the federal court 1 to investigate Rodríguez Larreta for “resistance or disobedience to public official, abuse of authority and violation of measures against the spread of an epidemic “.
The lawyer maintained that Rodríguez Larreta acted “knowing the illegality of insisting with the presence of students to classes in the scope of the City of Buenos Aires “after the ruling in this regard signed yesterday by the Federal Administrative Litigation Judge Esteban Furnari.
Carreras demanded that the Justice “order prevent access to schools from the area of the city of Buenos Aires “with” the support of the public force.
This complaint was handled by federal judge Marcelo Martínez De Giorgi.
