Even though The actor was originally sentenced to 12 months in prison. After a couple of nights behind bars, Starr’s attorney struck a deal that would keep him out of this punishment. This was what was said about it:
“A speedy trial ended up being held and the Court of Instruction Number Nine of Alicante, acting as a guard court, sentenced the detainee to 12 months in prison and the payment of a fine of €4,141 euros for a crime of injuries. The state of drunkenness of the detainee was taken into account as a mitigating factor. The sentence was the result of an agreement between the Public Ministry and the man who was subsequently convicted. His prison sentence is suspended on the condition that he does not commit another crime in two years and pays compensation within the next 72 hours.”
While Starr will stay out of jail, will still have to pay more than €4 thousand euros as part of the established agreement, and is prohibited from engaging in unlawful acts for two years. In the event that these two requirements are not met, the Amazon actor could well go to prison for a year.

Editor’s note:
It’s a shame to see a great actor share himself in this way. At least it is clear that Starr did not need experience to play someone like Homelander, since everything was inside him.
