As you probably already noticed, a new Nintendo Indie World took place today. This presentation is focused on giving us a look at the independent games that will come to the Switch in the future. In this way, many hoped to enjoy a glimpse of Hollow Knight: Silksong in the event that ended a few minutes ago, But this was not so.
Once again, fans' dreams were shattered after the absence of any information related to silksong in today's Indie World. However, this is a notorious case. Over the last few weeks we have seen the registration of this sequel in multiple rating organizations in regions such as Australia and South Korea, which points to a release of this title at some point this year.
Thus, part of the community was disappointed by the absence of Hollow Knight: Silksong in today's Indie World. However, it is important to mention that Team Cherry's work is no longer at the level of this type of presentation. Indie World is focused on small experiences, for a niche audience. Thanks to its scale and the excitement it has created among the public in recent years, silksong deserves a place at larger events, such as Summer Game Fest.
Unfortunately, at the moment we do not know when Team Cherry will share new information about Hollow Knight: Silksong. With multiple registrations already underway, The sequel is expected to have some kind of presence during this year's summer events, pointing to the Xbox presentation as the favorite place to not only have more information about this installment, but also finally know its exact release date.
Fortunately, Today's Indie World had several interesting announcementsas Yars Risingreboot of the best-selling Atari 2600 title. Likewise, TMNT: Splintered Fate is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Finally, it is confirmed Steam World Heist II which will be available this year.

It was more than obvious that Hollow Knight: Silksong I was not going to be present at today's Indie World. The title is already too big to be part of an event as small as Nintendo's Indie World. I hope to see more of this game in the summer of this year.
