A clip of Hogwarts Legacy is shooting on Reddit, and not exactly for the reasons that make the game so eagerly awaited by fans of the saga. The short clip shows an NPC walking down a path outside Hogwarts Castle and it’s, let’s face it, pretty bad. The first big problem also noticed by users but also by the writer is a backward sliding of the support foot while the other is performing the movement, as if the character were trying to do a moonwalk.
It is not the only problem however. All the animation feels very heavy, especially in the foot movements. No person lifts their legs so heavily and then drops them to the ground, as if they are imitating the T-Rex chasing the Jeep in Jurassic Park, unless it is a Care of Magical Creatures lesson, which apparently is not. it seems.
Warner Bros and Avalanche recently announced that the release of Hogwarts Legacy has been moved to February in lieu of the year-end holidays. The problems outlined above are certainly little stuff, but if the two companies have decided to postpone it, it means that they have noticed something that would have sparked the ire of the fans and have preferred not to risk.
What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments.
