Hockey Tuukka Rask trained with Boston, the coach estimates that the Finn will be in shape soon

Rask underwent hip surgery last summer.

Finn keeper Tuukka Rask participated in the hockey NHL club Boston Bruins practice early Monday in Finnish time, On the NHL website.

Rask has been on the sidelines for the entire early season due to the hip surgery performed in the summer, and the Finn does not currently have a contract with any club.

Boston head coach Bruce Cassidy Raskin said on the NHL website that Raskin should be fit to play in three weeks. Then a possible Raskin return match could be a home game against Carolina Hurricanes on January 18th.

In Boston have been responsible for control during the current period Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark.

The 34-year-old Finnish goalkeeper has played his entire NHL career in Boston, a total of 560 matches. In the 2010-11 season, Rask celebrated the NHL championship, winning the Stanley Cup.

Rask was raised by SaPKon from Savonlinna, but played in Finland for three seasons in Tampere’s Ilves before leaving for North America.
