Kristian Kuusela Tappara scored two goals when Tappara defeated EHC Munich’s 3-0 Champions League CHL in the semi-finals on Tuesday to advance to the final match against home team Rögle in Ängelholm, Sweden.

Kuusela had a power of 0 + 11 = 11 CHL before the match.

Tappara became the third league team to play in the CHL final. The flies lost to Frölunda in Oulu in 2016, but JYP also won in the guests of the Swedish Växjö in 2018.

Tappara is the only league team to have participated in the CHL in all seven seasons. Last season, the CHL was not played at all.
