Hockey Russian newspaper: Super promise Matvei Mitškov’s father considers his son’s coronavirus infection a provocation

Russian newspaper Sport-Ekspress says on its website that it is a hockey player for the Russian youth World Cup team Matvei Mitškov has passed a positive result in a corona test.

According to the newspaper, Mishkov’s father Andrei Mitškov regards his son’s infection as a provocation.

“I would like the World Cup to be suspended,” Andrei Mitškov told the newspaper.

“People get sick, the principles of sport disappear and how can Matvei? First there was a positive test result from the corona test and we immediately did a quick test with a negative result. ”

Father Mishkov wondered why the coronavirus is infecting the team’s key players.

“We suspect this is a provocation.”

Matvei Mitshkov is one of the super promises of the tournament and he has already played for the national team participating in the Russian Karelia tournament. Mitshkov, 17, will not be eligible for the NHL until the summer of 2023, but is bet to be a very early player.

Sport-Ekspress confirmed that the World Cup match between Russia and Slovakia has been canceled and Slovakia has been sentenced to 1-0.
