Granlund has played a strong early season in Ufa.
Markus Granlund became KHL team Salavat Yulayev Ufa’s hero when the team knocked down Moscow’s Spartak goals after a winning shot race on 2-1 Friday.
Granlund hit the puck twice in the winning shot with the Spartak goalkeeper July Hudáčekin behind. Both hits seemed rarely easy.
In the first attempt, Hudáček boldly went far in the face, and Granlund toured him really easily.
The second time, Hudáček stayed visually on the finish line, but Granlund effortlessly moved the puck between the legs into the net.
Granlund also scored in the match Sakari Manninen to finish. The second entry point went To Teemu Hartikainen. Granlund has powers of 10 + 14 out of 20 matches, which is enough for the seventh place in the points exchange.
Spartak is at the forefront Jori Lehterä at powers 5 + 24. Hartikainen is third (14 + 14).
