Hockey HIFK lost to TPS for the second time this week, now without scoring a goal: “We didn’t get the strength to chase”

On Wednesday, KooKoo won in front of TPS’s nose in Kouvola by hitting four goals in the third set, but on Saturday the Turku team took a 4-0 home win from HIFK.

There was a league atmosphere in Turku Hall for a long time, when the late match on Saturday had attracted almost 4,200 spectators to the hall.

“A great battle victory in front of a large crowd. We were able to play a sensible offensive game and the defense worked tight,” rejoiced TPS head coach Jussi Ahokas.

TPS: n captain Juhani Jasu took the home team to the lead at the end of the opening round when he hit the HIFK guard Michael Garteigin combating the bounced disc network.

Mitch Hults and Mikael Wipe increased the home team’s lead in the second installment, and the winning figures sealed Eetu Liukas to an empty goal when the final buzzer rings.

With TPS paint Andrei Karejev played brilliantly and paved the way for their victory with 32 defenses.

“There was a lot of emotion in the game, but we didn’t get the strength to chase,” HIFK head coach Ville Peltonen annoyed.

The loss to TPS was already the second week of the week for HIFK. On Monday, the people of Turku applied for a 4–2 victory in Töölö.
