Hockey Hakametsä’s lights went out in Tampere – Tappara lost the farewell match

HPK scored in the last league match of Finland’s oldest ice rink.

Tampereen Tappara bid farewell on Saturday despite his control of the legendary Hakametsä Ice Rink. The toughest team in the hockey league, HPK, was a rude guest in Hakametsä’s last league match and defeated the axes 3–2.

Tappara took the shots of the fight by a landslide, but HPK took the lead with two goals in the second set. Markus Nenonen succeeded in scoring in 25.27, and Otto Latvala added to the pain of a full home audience just 21 seconds later.

In the third installment Kristian Tanus narrowed in time to 41.51, but HPK Michael Joly acknowledged the hit 17 seconds after the hit. Captain Tappara Otto Rauhala served his goal to the full home crowd another 11 seconds before the final buzzer.

Started in early October as HPK’s head coach Jarno Pikkarainen has brought the people of Hämeenlinna into a wild union. The victory was already the eighth consecutive one for the Club, and the team is only two points away from Tappara, who is seventh.

Hakametsän the first hockey match was played in January 1965. Tappara and local opponent Ilves move from Finland’s oldest ice rink to the new arena in Tampere, where the teams will meet next Friday and Saturday.

Ilves bowed to TPS in his own Hakametsä celebration match on Friday, but on Saturday the team was a louder as a guest at KooKoo and grabbed two points. Ilves Jarkko Parikka, Eemeli Finland and Nicholas Baptiste in the opening round, the tassel ears hit the 3-0 lead, but KooKoo forcibly crept into the levels.

American defender Sam Lofquist decided to score a point for KooKoo with his equalizer in the final minutes. Victory shots for the lynx Lester Lancaster twice passed the KooKoo guard Nick Malikin.

Flies got a sweet home revenge against HIFK when the Oulu team defeated their Helsinki visitors 5–2. Saku Mäenalanen made two goals and served in the third installment with superiority To Mika Pyörälä profit hit. In the end, the Flies hit two hits on an empty goal.

Vaasan Sport, who had slipped into a bad result and had difficulty scoring, finally got his goal open in his home match against JYP.

At JYP, the top promise of a difficult season so far Brad Lambert took the visitors with his fine weaving superiority, but then the Sport finish line began. Two goals scored Turo Asplund started the goal scoring for the Vaasa teams, and in the end Sport took the match 5–2.

Before Saturday, Sport had made just nine hits in its previous ten matches.

Of the day In the first match, Mikkeli’s Jukurit continued its strong earnings trend in recent weeks, when the team defeated KalPan for the fifth time this season. For the second day in a row, Jukurit, who overthrew KalPan, was now celebrating victory numbers 4–1 at home.

Jukurien Markus Oden, Anssi Löfman and Jarkko Immonen and KalPan Aapeli Räsänen succeeded in the opening round in goal scoring. Swedish defender Linus Nässen seals the home win in the final installment.

Olli Jokisen coach Jukurit has won seven of his ten previous matches. The team is ninth in the series, KalPa 11th.

The Pelicans and SaiPa will decide the score in Saturday night’s final battle.
