Hockey Anton Lundell, who made club history in Florida, was selected as the NHL Newcomer of the Month

In the Florida Panthers great through playing Anton Lundell has been selected as the January entrant to the NHL Hockey League. Lundell, 20, scored 3 + 14 = 17 in 15 matches during the month, a new entry in Panthers club history.

Lundell also made club history the night before Tuesday, scoring as many as five Panthers goals in an 8-4 win over Columbus. In January, a Finn who had jumped from the Helsinki IFK to the bucks league also recorded the best plus-minus number +20 in the entire NHL.

Lundel became the first Panthers player of the month to be selected since February 2013. At the time, the club’s current star striker Jonathan Huberdeau was honored.

The NHL said in its bulletinthat also the Minnesota Wild Finnish goalkeeper Kaapo Kähkönen was high in the January newcomer rating. Kähkönen defeated Minnesota as a starting goalkeeper in seven games and achieved six victories with a handsome 93.4 percent rebound.
