Hockey Aleksaner Barkov returned to practice in Florida, is expected to play on Thursday

Barkov have played in the last 13 matches in the last 12 matches.

Hockey Finnish striker for the Florida Panthers in the NHL Alexander Barkov is returning to real action as the series continues after the Christmas break. NHL website according to Barkov, he practiced normally with the rest of the team on Monday.

“He looked good. I think he’s ready to play. It was good to get him these couple of exercises below. Let’s see how he feels tomorrow and make a decision based on that, ”the Florida coach said Andrew Brunette said on the NHL website.

Barkov injured his knee in a stroke in November, but avoided surgery. After returning to the trough after a knee injury in early December, the Finn injured his upper body in a match against St. Louis Blues.

The center striker has been sidelined in 12 of Florida’s last 13 matches due to injuries. Barkov have played a total of 16 matches in the early season, scoring 18 points (10 + 8).

Barkov is expected to play Finnish time against the New York Rangers on Thursday.

Florida the team was placed on NHL corona protocol J on Sundayonathan Huberdeau, Eetu Luostarinen, Owen Tippett and MacKenzie Weegar. Brunette says a quartet of Huberdeau is expected to return to the trough later this week.
