Little Teacup’s breeder wanted to create the smallest puppy in the world, but something went wrong
Today we want to tell you the story of Teacup, a tiny dog born without eyes. The man who raised her wanted to create one new breed of dogs to then sell them, but the result was not what he hoped for. So he asked for help from volunteers from a local animal rescue association, la Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.
Unfortunately, the phenomenon ofbreeding and of sale of purebred dogs is more and more widespread. Many people buy puppies as if they were a new outfit to show off. And this leads many breeders to make practices that are anything but healthy for the dogs themselves. Such as intersections.
One man in particular, residing in Nashville, in Tennessee, intended to create the smallest puppy in the world. So he tried to give birth to a cross between one miniature schnauzer it’s a wheat terrier.
The result was that a blind puppy and with other serious health problems. In addition to being blind, the dog also had with the bladder attached to the uterus.
In the days following the birth, the man became aware of not be able to properly feed the disabled child and therefore decided to take her to the Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, the city rescue association.
Teacup ends up in Nicole’s golden hands
The volunteer took charge of little Teacup from the very first moment Nicole. The woman immediately noticed the condition of the dog and how incredibly she was polite and meekdespite suffering from various pathologies. Nicole said:
The thing that struck me the most was that she was in no pain. She does not know she is disabled, as she has never known life with sight, so she behaves like a normal dog. He wants to play and run and even if he bumps into something at times, he eventually gets up and continues his run.
The biggest problem, it only concerned the nourishment. Teacup had never been breastfed, so she didn’t know how to drink from a bottle. Thanks to a special syringe, Nicole gradually managed to figure out how to feed her and, in a few weeks, the puppy was great recovery.
Now the little one weighs 5 kilos and is ready to find one lovely family willing to take care of her. Nicole and the other volunteers are sure that destiny has a special program for her and we hope so too.
