Given the existing meteorological situation in the Valencian Community and the effects that DANA have occurred in many points of the railway network in this community, Adif has decided to suspend rail traffic on the high-speed line that connects Madrid and Valencia.
Through a statement on social networks, Adif has clarified that they are suspended for security reasons and before the adverse weather situation for trains to and/or from València Joaquín Sorolla until the network situation returns to normal.

Specifically, they have been affected AVE Gijón (11.09)-Castello (18:36), detained in Siete Aguas since 17:31; the AVE Valencia Joaquin Sorolla (17.42)-Burgos (21.29), no way out; and the AVE Madrid Chamartín (16.30)-Valencia Joaquín Sorolla (6:24 p.m.), detained at the Albacete fork from 5:54 p.m.
As if that were not enough, Renfe Cercanías has reported that on line C6 Valencia-Castellón Traffic was suspended at 6:15 p.m. due to the fall of a truck onto the tracks between the stations. Burriana and Nules (in the province of Castellón), which has caused a breakdown in the catenary that produces a short circuit.
On Line C2 Valencia-Moixentthe overflow of the Magro river between Algemesí and Alzira has caused the roads to flood and traffic has been suspended at 6:45 p.m. Traffic on Line C3 has also been suspended. Valencia-Utiel at 5:15 p.m. due to flooding of the roads; and on Line C1 Valencia-Gandia.

Other notable incidents
Furthermore, the storm in the middle of the torrential rain and strong gusts of wind has forced the diversion of six flights bound for Valencia to other airports and the cancellation of three other departures.
The diverted flights have been the following: one from Zurich and another of Amsterdam have been directed to Barcelona; three other flights originating in Bergamo, Pisa and Palma who have been diverted to Alicante; and a sixth, from Istanbuldiverted to Ibiza.
In addition, there have been three cancellations of flights departing from Valencia airport to Amsterdam, Munich and Nurembergthey have reported ‘EFE‘ Aena sources.
