The rumors about the Hideo Kojima – Microsoft agreement are becoming more concrete.
When an author of the caliber of Hideo Kojima moves certainly does not go unnoticed and the collaboration with Microsoft seems to portend something big, as suggested by old rumors that wanted him to work on something cloud-based. In the meantime, we have also had further confirmations from Jeff Grubb, to whom is added the new project provisionally titled “Pax Dei“.
We learned how Microsoft and the Mainframe team are collaborating on a new kind of videogame based entirely on the cloud, a sandbox MMO with immediate access from any device. But this work, in which in the meantime he also saw the entry of Riot, evidently interested in technological opportunities, would hide something. As also mentioned by Grubb, this development is full of pitfalls, being the construction of a software of this type, entirely in the cloud, almost pioneering but useful for those who will make their own future steps in this area.
Here we return to Hideo Kojima and his new project, which at this point he sees together with Microsoft, Pax Dei as a guinea pig and reason for study waiting to actively work on the project. We are still in the early stages of planning, so it is very likely that a possible Death Stranding 2 can arrive first.
