In the festival season, there is a bumper sale of two wheelers i.e. bikes in India in October and Hero Splendor continues to prevail in the same way, ie this bike of Hero has been sold. Along with this, bikes like Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Pulsar, Honda CB Shine, Hero Glamor, Hero Passion, RE Classic 350 and TVS Apache are getting the highest sales. A total of 11,54,518 bikes were sold in October, which is 2,29,610 units more than October last year. That is, the sales of bikes have increased by 24.83 percent in October this year compared to last year.
Hero motocorp bikes demand more
Hero Splendor continues to hold the top position in India in terms of sales and Hero Splendor sold 3,15,798 units in October, up 19.56 per cent over October last year. In October last year, 2,64,13 units of this bike were sold. Hero MotoCorp’s own Dhansu bike HF Deluxe occupies the second position in the list of top 10 bikes in India.

In this festival season i.e. October, HF Deluxe sold 2,33,061 units, which is 25.47% more than the previous year. Bajaj’s popular bike, Bajaj Pulsar, has seen tremendous sales in terms of bike sales. Pulsar sold 1,38,218 units in October 2020, an increase of 44.72% over October last year.

Honda and Bajaj bikes are also sold well
Honda CB Shine, Honda’s cool bike, went on sale in October 2020 and the company sold 1,18,547 units of the bike, a 35.11% increase over the previous year. Honda CB Shine sold 87,743 units in October last year. Hero Glamor occupies the fifth position in terms of sales and in October 2020 the company sold 78,439 units, an increase of 91.80 per cent over the previous year. Hero MotoCorp itself sold 75,540 units of the popular bike Hero Passion in October 2020, which is 64.47% higher than October last year.

Sales of Bajaj Platina and CT decreased
This is followed by Bajaj Platina, whose bike sold 60,967 units in October 2020 and is 13.48 per cent lower than last year. Bajaj CT, another bike from Bajaj, was also affected in the month of October and the company sold just 51,052 units this year compared to October last year, which is 16.97% less.

Sale of Classic 350 and TVS Apache increased
Royal Enfield’s Dhansu Bike Classic 350 continues to flourish in the cruiser bike segment and the company sold 41,953 units of the bike in October 2020, up 7.75 per cent over the previous year. While in the sports bike segment, TVS Apache is getting bumper sale of TVS Apache, the company sold 40,943 units of this bike in this festival season i.e. October 2020, which is 20.21% higher than October last year.
