Hennessey Special Vehicles, an American hypercar manufacturer, has unveiled the Venom F5 Roadster in California ahead of the model’s global debut. On my own official website the manufacturer noted that the Venom F5 is a logical continuation of the Venom F5 Coupe, which was shown in 2021.
The Venom F5 is powered by a twin-turbocharged Hennessey V8 Fury engine producing 1,817 hp. With. The rear-wheel drive roadster is equipped with an automatic transmission. Hypercar is capable of accelerating to 300 miles per hour (482 km/h).
The most noticeable detail is the roof of the hypercar. Unlike the F5 coupe, it’s made from a tough carbon fiber composite. The roof is attached with four quick-release bolts and a pair of high-strength latches to successfully counteract the machine’s acceleration capabilities as well as aerodynamic forces at extreme speeds.
Another highlight of the model lies in the viewing window of the engine, which is made of tempered glass. This panel in the center of the engine’s rear lid gives a glimpse of the Fury’s V8 engine.
The Venom F5 roadster will be produced in Texas in a limited run of 30 units. Production of the hypercar will begin at the end of 2022. Hennessey Special Vehicles has valued the new Venom F5 roadster at $3 million.
August 10 New Zealand car company Rodin Cars introduced the FZERO model for track racing. The company intends to build 27 copies, the first will appear in 2023. The car is powered by a four-liter V10 with a capacity of 1159 hp. With. The car is designed to go faster than a Formula 1 Grand Prix driver. The hypercar is capable of accelerating to 360 km/h.
