Hennessey has found another feather to tickle an American V8. This time the Texan tuner has created the Venom 775. It is a Ford F-150 with the ‘Coyote’ eight-cylinder that works together with a 3.0-liter supercharger. The modest power of 405 hp rises to a devastating 785 hp. Just put it there.
It’s called Venom 775, because the 785 bhp power we use is the same as the British/American 775 bhp. In addition to the supercharger, Hennessey has added a few things to the F-150. Think of a water-cooled intercooler, improved injectors and a high-flow intake system. Furthermore, a different suspension ensures that the belly hangs 15 centimeters higher above the ground than on the standard F-150.

In addition to the power, the torque also increased: from 556 to 986 Nm. With these figures, Hennessey’s Ford F-150 can compete with the McLaren 765 LT. Even better for Ford: the adjustment makes it a lot stronger than its arch-rival, the Ram 1500 TRX. A sprint to 100 km/h takes 3.6 seconds and a quarter mile can be done in 11.9 seconds.
Hennessey plans to build 250 units of the Venom 775. Are you one of the lucky ones? Then you get a three-year or 57,936 kilometers (36,000 miles) warranty. The tuner does not say what you pay. What is nice to know: just like with other Venoms from Hennessey, the Ford badges are LED lights. In the video below you will find out what that looks like and what Ford F-150 sounds like Hennessey Venom 775.
