A positive reception
At the time of writing the average rating is 83 on both Metacritic and Opencritic with 28 and 38 reviews counted respectively. In general, therefore, the verdict is largely positive, although there are some doubts about some elements that are not perfectly balanced and a certain lack of variety in the contents.
In our review of Helldivers 2 we praised the latest effort from Arrowhead Game Studios because of its flawless combat system and the high rate of player customization in terms of strategy and loadout. In our opinion, the progression system and the balance between the depth of the gameplay dynamics and the ironic and irreverent atmosphere that characterizes the game are also excellent.
