Helldivers 2 it may have been postponed by a few weeks according to the trailer presented by Sony on the occasion of CES 2024.
Specifically, at minute 2:20 of the video below, some sequences of the cooperative third-person shooter are briefly shown accompanied by the wording “available from 28 February 2024”where currently the official release date is set for February 8th.
For the moment, no specific communication has arrived from Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony on the issue, so it could simply be incorrect information. If confirmed, it would be a delay of around three weeks, so the wait wouldn't be particularly long.
Ready to bring democracy to the universe with carnage?
Coming to PS5 and PC, Helldivers 2 is one Third-person multiplayer shooter, unlike its predecessor which adopted an isometric view. We will return to take on the role of Super Earth's peacemakers, ready to bring democracy to the galaxy by subjugating aliens with laser rifles, carpet bombings and so on and so forth.
As in its predecessor, a certain importance will be given to strategy, with players having to carefully choose the loadout to use based on the threat to be faced and the Stratagems, i.e. turrets, tactical supports on the other and various upgrades. In each game the objective will be to complete various objectives, gradually more difficult, alone or in the company of other players, paying particular attention to friendly fire.
