Helbiz has announced the renewal and complete replacement of its fleet of electric scooters already present in Turin. The new fleet consisting of 500 vehicles it is characterized by important technological innovations, such as the introduction of front and rear turn indicators, and visual novelties, such as the new blue color that characterizes the livery.
Equipped with a long-lasting battery and built-in mobile phone holder, the new Helbiz scooters also offer integrated LED lights, placed under the platform, indicate the battery charge status, making the scooter not only more visible, but also allowing it to know at first given the charge level of the vehicle. The stronger fender and the double brake make the scooters safer, and in this sense the front shock absorbers have also been revised. The new vehicles are also equipped with a new generation IOT system inserted inside the scooter, for greater accuracy in locating the GPS which will help to avoid parking in areas and in ways that are not allowed.
The collaboration between Telepass and Helbiz is also renewed and continues: it will be possible to continue to rent the scooter and pay the cost of the rides with Telepass Pay, the multifunction app that also allows the payment of the blue stripes, fuel, car tax and much more.
According to the newspaper La Stampa, there could also be news in Italy regarding the production of scooters.
