The group This week Heineken launched the new Amstel Ultra, a product with fewer calories and carbohydrates compared to previous models of the brand.
The new Amstel Ultra has 72 calories in a 255 ml long neck. The launch is the Group’s new bet Heineken to captivate Generation Z consumers who, according to the company’s assessment, prefer gluten-free and low-calorie products.

“Amstel is already gluten free, and now it has fewer calories, but keeps alcohol, ensuring people can have fun. People want to have fun, but they have acquired a health awareness that is different”, declared Vanessa Brandão, Marketing Director at Amstel Brasil, to Exame.
According to Heineken, the new Amstel Ultra will be available by the end of the year for all states in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil.
