Mexico. Héctor Sandarti went through a difficult personal situation in his adolescence that led him to think about suicide. In an interview with Yordi Rosado, the Honduran driver recounts how such a situation happened and is moved by it.
Hector Sandarti he experienced painful moments in that stage of his life and he came to think that nothing was worthwhile, so the only way out or escape from his problems was suicide.
Héctor was a rather shy boy who dreamed of being another boy, not the one he was; He felt that he lacked love for sports, also personality and he had a stutter, so he felt that life was not worth living, Sandarti refers to Rosado.
But one of the things that would have led him to be that way, he also confesses, was perhaps the fact that he could not meet his father, who died of cancer when he was a few months old.
Héctor was about 13 years old when he went through what was previously written, but he steeled himself and thought at that moment: “I have two: either I change and become another person or I finish the story of this ox, that is, I kill myself”, the communicator quotes Rosado.
Regarding that bad streak of his adolescence, Sandarti also shared that the director sent for his mother to talk about how he behaved and was and offered to help him try to change, otherwise he could not continue on campus.
Such a warning made Sandarti reflect a bit, despite the fact that it was somewhat immature. “That time was the first time I saw my mother cry like that,” she saddens when she tells her, as can be seen in the interview that Yordi does with her.
Little by little, Héctor began to get the idea of suicide out of his head, he also points out he was able to become another person thanks to “an internal journey” he did for several years and became the person he is today.
Héctor Humberto Sánchez Duarte is originally from Guatemala (1968) and in addition to being a driver, he is an actor, and has appeared in soap operas such as La fea más bella, Las tontas no van al cielo and Eva Luna; he is also perfect at comedy and according to his biography he began his artistic career when he was 20 years old.
